MY WORK
Research on immigration, race, place, population health, and the lives of children of immigrants.
Children of Immigrants in the United States
Demographic change, regional contexts, and well-being.
My dissertation looks at how place shapes the lives and well-being of children of immigrants in the United States.
My current work centers an original survey of young adults who grew up in immigrant families. I’m interested in the things that are hard to see in Census data: belonging, identity, political climate, experiences of discrimination, and what those experiences mean for mental health and well-being.
